COVID-19 Update: October 19, 2020
Patients, Family, and Friends,
As we all continue to try and operate during these challenging times we wanted to give you an update on what we are doing to keep all our patients and team members safe at South University Dental Associates.
- The team at SUDA will continue to operate at the highest level of infection control, and will continue to utilize all safety measures of universal precaution. The team will continue to wear all the necessary PPE to protect the patient and themselves.
- In May, upon our reopening, we installed on our HVAC units, the Atmos Air Bi-Polar Ionization Air Purification system. This system helps remove bacteria, dust, molds, and viruses from the air.
- All hygienists utilize a high volume re-leaf suction system to control aerosols when working with the ultrasonic scalers.
- Touch less toilets, faucets, and paper towel dispensers have been installed in all patient restrooms.
Moving Forward
As many of you know, Governor Burgum has raised the risk level of Cass County this past week to “high risk.” As a result, we are taking a few extra steps to ensure your safety per his guidelines.
We will now be requiring masks to be worn by all patients upon entering our building as well as rearranging our lobby to ensure proper social distancing. Patients will also continue to be screened upon their check-in.
We want to reiterate that it is as important as ever to maintain your oral health and we want you to know it is safe to continue to receive your dental care during these challenging times. The team at SUDA will continue to work to our utmost ability to keep our patients safe and provide you with the dental care you deserve. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding during these ever changing times.
Sincerely,
The doctors and team at South University Dental Associates
